On 28th of November the 14th International Christmas Bazaar will take place in the Radisson Blu Hotel (Elizabetes 55) from 11.00 till 17.00 o’clock.

The International Christmas Bazaar is an annual event and starts to be really famous. It is organized by the International Women Club of Riga and the profit will go to the several charity projects they are doing. (www.iwcr.lv).

NLCC together with the Swedish Chamber of Commerce organized a business-study tour to Ventspils on 15 September 2010.

Similarly to Cesis and Liepaja tours there was a meeting with local municipality; the mayor of the city Mr. Lembergs welcoming the delegation.

The tour is was a one day event with a visit to Ventspils Free Port Authority and to some of notable local businesses.

Netherlands Latvian and German Baltic Joint Chamber Visit to Cēsis

The visit began with a general description of Cēsu district, as well as general overview of business opportunities in Cēsu district provided by Cēsu District Municipality and Cēsu Innovation center. It was followed by a visit of seven local companies, (see the program) and ended in a nice and relaxing venue of Nītaures dzirnavas.

This was an introductory visit to Cēsu district with a potential of finding a business partner and maintaining good working relationship with a local government.
